This track is based on a song I made when I was nine. The original song was called "My Teacher." My dad helped me make the original recording, about an elementary school girl lusting after her teacher. The original lyrics included lines like "My mother would go ballistic if she knew I was wearing lipstick to show off in front of my teacher." You can still hear the melody outline the repeating phrase "my teacher." After much mockery from my older brothers, and years of the forgotten tape degrading in storage, I recently transposed fragments of the discovery down an octave and titled it "My Baby's Mama," because, ironically, that's where this all started.
